As a member of the Brandywine A-List, not only will you be a part of an extremely high quality advertising medium created specifically for independent businesses in the Brandywine Valley, but you will also have access to discounted graphic design, web design, and other related services, including free web hosting, provided by our parent company, 2 Fish Group; a unique marketing studio in Wilmington that caters exclusively to small, independent businesses.


MEMBERSHIP REQUIREMENTS – Businesses must first qualify before being considered for membership.

1. Your business must be located in (if a fixed location business), or do business in (if an off-premise business), the Brandywine Valley.

2. Your business must be locally owned and operated.

3. Your business must be referred by multiple sources before you will be considered for membership.*

4. You and your business must establish and maintain a solid reputation in the community.

5. You must agree to the Brandywine A-List’s Terms of Use.

6. Your business must offer a discount, reward, or special for our Green Card program.

7. You must place a Member Icon on your business' website and/or a Member Decal in storefront window (when applicable).

8. You must sign both copies of our Service Agreement and complete the membership form at www.brandywinealist.com/checklist which will require submission of any information and artwork (logo and photos) related to your business.

*References may be required in addition to being referred by a third party.


FEES - Businesses featured on the A-List do not pay any sort of monthly or annual membership fee. If they did, we feel that the integrity of what we’re trying to do would be compromised, as has happened with other local “Best of ” lists.

Businesses do, however, pay a one-time setup fee of $200* which compensates for our time gathering the necessary information and creating their profile on our site, as well as a photography session for inclusion on the business’ profile.

*If you submit your checklist to us (www.brandywinealist.com/checklist) within one week of our first meeting, your setup fee will be reduced to $150.


THE GREEN CARD PROGRAM - Each business featured on the A-List is required to offer some sort of discount, reward, or special for our Green Card program. This program is designed to create a larger, loyal customer base for the independent businesses in the Brandywine Valley by offering special promotions to consumers, encouraging them to buy local.
